Wicker Hills Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Hale, Michigan.
Wicker Hills Golf Course first opened for play in 1971. The "new nine" was added in 1997. Wicker Hills Golf Course was designed by Bill Baker and Andy Anderson
This course is based on the Scottish-links design. The fairways are fairly wide and are open. The greens are very sloped and quite slow. The old front nine has hilly, tree-lined fairways. Some of the greens and tees are elevated. There are two ponds that come into play on three holes. The greens are undulating and well bunkered. Golfers will find this 18 hole course to have rolling hills, plenty of water and a beautiful setting snuggled in the Huron National Forest. Tree lined fairways mixed with open Scottish links style of play makes Wicker Hills Golf Course a fun mix of challenges.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 5939 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4820 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 529 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 144 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, the 529 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Wicker Hills Golf Course is # 12, a 145 yard par-3.
